Quite a obvious one this but there is a saying in football, "Never go back" i dont know of many managers who went back and did well second time round but here to be corrected

Got to be said that managers returning to scenes of former glory seldom find success, we well remeber how disappointing Terry Coopers return was and certainly Jim Smith failed spectacularly at Oxford recently.

Anybody think of any others?

Or perhaps can anybody think of managers that have acheived something second time around?

We just don't know do we?

Thing is, St Paul can now finish off what he started in 2000.

Not a bad place to be, 4th in the CCC, new and trusted Manager coming in, potential new investor coming in.

There could be even better times ahead.

Playing fast and loose with other people's money?

No change there then.

Poor old Doris.

Still if he keeps you active between now and November 5th, I suppose it's a good thing.

Tell me though, sitting in your front room, down there in the really awful part of Cornwall, in your twilight years, worried about the cost of heating fuel, almost unable to move because of the six jumpers you're wearing, isn't there something better to do than wade through all the old posts?

Still I suppose it's better than some neo nazi spouting forth his homophobic and right wing filth.

What a choice we have eh? Doris or Boris.
