This post reminds me that if we could only tempt Benoit Assou-Ekotto to come down to SJP for a game, and assuming Troy can get a bionic knee, we could field a completely double-barrelled back four - BAE, TAH, JMT, CRL.

Whilever I'm dreaming lets also get Nigel Reo-Coker for defensive mid, Craig Mackail-Smith for centre forward, and James Ward-Prowse at no.10

Until that happens though I'll be happy with a nice simple 4-4-2 with Holmes putting the crosses (and set pieces) in for Reid and McAlinden up top - can't see that happening either though.
