Flybe have previously named planes after George Best, Matt Le Tissier and Kevin Keegan, so Stanno will be in excellent company. A few examples here:

The Stanno plane looks just as good.

The event will take place at 1300 and will be covered by ITV West Country, BBC and others. Given that Stanno's passing was so recent, essentially, it'll be a private affair, with family and a small number of team-mates. The aircraft will be based at Exeter so anyone travelling with Flybe will stand a good chance of flying on it.

Stand by for another emotional moment.

was great to see at the end of the Brazil game the flybe gent getting tons of thanks when he got on the podium ...
