Stanno usually takes a few games to get back to his best after injury. Think he'll be up to speed and ready for a hat trick by Saturday.

Surely Norwood should be primed into a winger? No way will he be effective up front on his own in this league.
Who said anything about being up front on his own? Playing one up front has been a disaster and is a practice that should cease forthwith

No it is not right because he is, at the moment, not good enough

Finally someone who talks sense, thanks arthur.

Stanno didnt impress on Saturday or today and if Dunne hadn't saved the day I'd have been even more frustrated at Stanno.

He seemed a few seconds off the play, meaning his runs were always too late, he would get to players once they've passed and as for that miss...

been our best striker this season , is our top goalscorer and works his b*ll*cks off week in week out.

Possibly citys player of the season and Tisdale loves his attitude and workrate and rates him alongside Taylor and Edwards as citys most important player.

enough said.

Because that's what Stanno did tonight and you suggested norwood takes his place.

And no Stewart didn't partner him, Stewart was miles off as usual ambling around the pitch but that's for another time.

one reason , one reason only , lack of support.

Stewart was so poor. Playing upfront on your own isnt an easy job especially when at times the support / passes coming from midfield are so poor , hence why he's chasing lost causes which at times are not easy to read.

And how is he going to get back to being up with the pace? By playing games.

In the meantime you still get someone who harrys defenders and wins you throw ins out of nothing.
