He’s had a superb 18 months after a poor couple of seasons, so fair play to him.

Hearing his interview on Sky, it sounded very much like he’s possibly leaving. I think if we stay down he will go after hearing that. Losing him going into June wouldn’t give the club much time to find a replacement but what will be will be. I don’t want him to go while we’re succeeding, we’d be crazy to lose him.

Hope he stays , overall the Tisdale years have got to have been the most exciting in out history . Apart from a couple of seasons we have always had something to play for right up until the last few games of each season. Can't remember a single mid table finish , mainly going for promotion or getting into the play offs or staying up in league 1.

Couple of deep sighs from Tis on the interview video when talking about the days ahead. Kinda got the feeling that he wanted to announce he was leaving there and then, but knew he couldn't. Certainly didn't seem very excited about the prospect of Wembley.

I think he did the right thing when talking about Wembley, We have a job to do there first an he has to focus on that, If he'd sounded excited people would have said we ain't won yet, His job is to prepare the team an was probably thinking that when being interviewed

Wishful thinking on your part perhaps.

Was interested to hear Steve P's pre-match interview yesterday where he repeated a point made by Tisdale in his recent (Times?) interview about the Club no longer having the excuse of pleading poverty over signing new players and needing more ambition.

Not clear if an offer to loosen the pulse-strings - in League 1, why not!, could still tempt him to stay. We just need to keep our fingers crossed.

If we get to League One, we'll need to loosen the purse strings regardless of who our manager is. Looking at how difficult it is to get back there after going down, we need to make sure we stay up at a minimum. It would also do wonders for persuading JMT to stay on (if he his contract is up). Why leave when you can get a decent salary at the ambitious club where you're already a hero?
