Woods has been good but it is easy to look good when nobody is within 10 yards of you.

I’ve had real issue with Carroll’s decision making this season and I don’t think he’s been value for money (if you assume he’s on a decent wedge)

Woods is more of the McDonald mould in that he looks to actively create with his passes rather than just tick along. Really impressive tonight.

Shrewsbury have been shockingly poor in the first half, even given being down to 10 men. You'd think they'd try and be more attacking rather just sit back and watch us play.

Yes, they've been spectacularly poor. As Tongue said, they look as if they're down to seven men, not ten. Ten man teams usually do much better than this, but credit us for not giving them the remotest sniff.

Aimson's finish was sublime. Really pleased for him. Harris following Stanno's example and running to the bench when he scored.
