Britains Best banger a local pork and garlic sausage from Charles Harris butches, quite keen on Westaways Honey Roast mind.
(y) They be are indeed very good. Charles (he with the tache) has those for tasting at the Devon Show.

Westaways here as well. Seems to be a lot of gluten free nonsense entering the market which is unnecessary.

N.B. Vegetarian options permitted despite this particular sausage fancier viewing a vegetarian version as just wrong.
Where do you stand on the Selsig Morgannwg?

I would stand anywhere on the wretched Glamorgan fake sausage.

Have started using the dried Kabanos sausages in stews/casseroles for their smoky flavour.

Can't touch them these days unfortunately as they invariably now contain sulphite which I am allergic to.;(

And if you time it right at half time, they'll give you an extra one (y)

I did try the Andouillette in Arras off the menu du terroir. It was tasty but smelt rather strange.

I have not partaken of them since.

Round these parts at various butchers you can get a Staffordshire Sizzler and for a traditional British Banger, boy oh boy, they're good.
