No reason for anything other than a good reception - I liked him and he did well for us - he was on borrowed time when Jayden arrived but I was sorry to see him go it's a big (clap) from me

Fully agree with that sentiment

I'm sure this moment passed last season. He has been back and had his reception and now he is just another opposing player. He had a reasonable spell with us but neither enough to get a huge ovation nor bad enough to get a bad one. Nothing to see as far as I can make out.

He got a lot of stick from RL last season ,but laugh through it all and turn it around at the end of the game
By coming right towards the BB clapping everyone, which gained him a great reception .

Let’s hope he gets a good reception this time,he’s a good bloke.
Shame him and Jayden didn’t workout.

I still miss Reuben Reid and his cheeky smile and wish him the best in every game he plays - except against us.

Can't see any reason to boo Reidy. Never did City any harm and was always ready to have photos taken and a chat with the kids and fans in general. Would be a shame if fans booed him and tbh would be rather infantile. A friendly welcome would be better.

Can corroborate the earlier posts, defo got a bit of grief last time he came but I think it's fair to say that he took it as banter. Seems to be a pretty lax bloke thankfully.

I hope he plays like dog**** but gets a great reception from the fans.

In his first season for us he really helped turn things around for us on the pitch, and came across as an articulate and decent guy. Top bloke

Reid was the main reason we went from bottom of the table up to the playoffs two years ago.
