Anyone get a decent view of this incident, most saying it was a bit harsh

Seemed harsh from the WTS. Ref had no hesitation.

Looked worse than it was. Their lad had a bit of a wild swing at the ball missed and hit Nicholls. Yellow but never a red.

Sadly we couldn't use it to fire us up.

I can only assume that the ref saw it as a deliberate kick at Tom Nichols. He had no hesitation with his hand going into his back pocket and showing the Red Card.

Poor result has upset us all. But the original post is simply a valid question. Might need to keep an eye on bullying behaviour.
