Judging from all I've read, the OP starter has nothing to say about the club beyond a mouthful of bile. I'd be very suprised if he's even a city fan yet alone a season ticket holder.

Long ball is generally gash. There is a reason you don't see this strategy played at higher levels so much. It's because it's cr#p.

Yes it is, when it is the only way you play. If the team is able to mix it up though, playing the ball to feet and working openings but always looking for the quick break where a long ball can be very effective in putting a defence under a lot of pressure, then it's fine. IMO it's about having several strategies not just one.
