Stobart Group have a reputation for looking to drive down costs and I have no doubt that all cost centres will be scrutinised if they do go ahead with a takeover.

I doubt the fans care much who sponsors us. If Flybe sponsorship no longer represent value we will just have to change sponsor. No biggie.

We'll be merged with Carlisle. You know it makes sense. Thames Valley Royals anyone?

I think fans probably do care. Take Wonga and Newcastle as a prime example.

Personally I think having a national brand such as Flybe gives us much more credibility, rather than a local window company.

I think Flybe have stuck with us through thick and thin. Its easy to get sponsors/commercial income when you play Man U or Liverpool, but the support is most needed when times are toughest. So far better to have long term partners like Flybe.

Agree entirely. Within reason I couldn't care less who's on the front of our shirts so long as it's a good deal for both parties.

Flybe have been a top sponsor down the years for city, and we've been able to rely on their continued support in a way a comparable club (Yeovil) haven't. For one, this means we don't need to spend man hours searching for a new partner every year. It means we can essentially bank on that money entering the club, which is also a positive. Also, they're not a payday loan company – huge positive.

I like the flybe sponsor. I think they make our shirt look professional rather than Sunday league. It's also good to have a solid continuous sponsorship deal and I hope this doesn't affect us too much.
