The thing with Tis is he never adapted and doesn't back up his "brand".

You only have to look at his former contemporary Chris Wilder formally of Halifax to see that in football just because you don't turn in a nice scarf and prefer trackies doesn't mean you're not tactically astute...

The 'R' rate is dangerously high to use a topical analogy!
Dropping fast actually!

This thread has been consistently top of the Exeweb forums since its creation. Am I the only one who finds this hilarious and sad in equal measure 😕

Tisdale is our longest serving ever manager, most successful/frustrating manager, and the strangest personality we've ever had. He left under a bitter cloud and like it or not, whilst he's working in football and probably beyond that, City fans will take an interest his whereabouts/work/wellbeing etc

He also created and played up that persona, and seems to still be doing so.

And as Oscar Wilde wrote, "There is only one thing worse than being talked about, that is not being talked about".

You'd imagine Arsenal fans still talk about Wenger

Actually he can only lay claim to be (appropriately ?), our 2nd longest serving manager !
Arthur Chadwick was our manager from April 1908 - December 1922 ! 😎

While Man U fans are still hung up on a manager who quit way back in 2013. Imagine! ;)
