Not sure about Eisa, but Wildschut did come off the bench for Suriname
That is his surname, his first name is Yanic.

Eisa also played for Sudan, had a goal disallowed in the second half.

It’s strange in these days of the World Wide Web and instant information that it has been so hard to find out the facts of some of the latest international appearances. Even the helpful Exeter City news piece doesn’t clarify if Mo Eisa played in both games against Guinea-Bissau. Statisticians and historians need to know this stuff!

What is clear is that this season has seen a seismic change in the number of Exeter City players gaining full international caps while at the Club. Our first 115 years saw just 4 players win such caps while with us. The last before this season was 2016 (Joel Grant for Jamaica).

In contrast 5 new players have won caps this season alone - Ilmari Niskanen (4 caps), Admiral Muskwe (1), Vil Sinisalo (1), Yanic Wildschut (1) and Mo Eisa (1 or 2 - to be confirmed).

The changing face of football…

I guess you could always ask them when they're back...

The changing face of football........indeed.
Such a shame that the EFL appear not to recognise this and persist in League 1 fixtures being scheduled for International Break dates, which results in rearranged Tuesday night fixtures and uncertainty for all fans.

That true - it’s a very striking comparison.
But I also think it’s due in part to the bloated nature of some club’s squads these days (especially towards the top of the pyramid).
Three of ‘our’ current internationals have come to us on loan with a view to getting regular league game time that they wouldn’t have had at their parent clubs, despite being full internationals.
Ironically in Mo Eisa’s case even from the division below us!
Mind you if Vinnie Harper had been fit he would have possibly boosted our own international contingent further having been called up to Kenya’s full squad for the first time last October.

Indeed and the question has now been asked. The answer is that Mo Eisa only played in the second Sudan game v Guinea-Bissau (25 March 2024).

So the current list of players who have won full international caps while at Exeter is:

4 caps - Ilmari Niskanen (Finland)

2 - Dwayne Lee (Grenada); Jake Gosling (Gibraltar) and Joel Grant (Jamaica)

1 - Dermot Curtis (Eire); Admiral Muskwe (Zimbabwe); Vil Sinisalo (Finland); Yanic Wildschut (Suriname) and Mo Eisa (Sudan)
