Kelly Monteith, the US stand-up comic who also had his own UK BBC show in the 1980's dies aged 80. RIP Remember his show back in the day which also starred the very lovely Gabrielle Drake as his on screen wife.

Also passing away Tom Karen aged 96, Not instantly well known at first look but he was one of the people who helped design the iconic bike of the 1970's, The Chopper Bike, If you were a kid back then that was your dream to own and many pestered their parents to get them one, Roughly priced £50 back then, The Mark1 Chopper can fetch as much as £1400/£1800 today. RIP

Still got the scars on my knees from a crash on one in 1971. My own fault going down a hill too fast on my friends Yellow Chopper, swerving from side to side, with the small front wheel the inevitable happened !!
