There has been a lot of speculation this week that he could be signing.

Anyone got any truth in this, I know he had been linked but with strong opponents I thought it would be fizzled out.

If we did get him that would be a cracking signing.

2009-2019 Certainly not afraid to get on his bike has played for eleven different clubs majority as a loanee.

Ecfc Twitter seems to have blown up in the last couple of days with a few posts saying it’s imminent and everyone now seems to believe it’s a done deal, still haven’t seen any reliable posts to suggest he is coming here! Our twitter feed will be an embarrassing read if he does sign for a different club (facepalm) Lets hope I’m just being cynical and he signs on the dotted line today!

Agreed. A post on twitter said he was seen eating a cheese toastie in the C&F yesterday. Need a Worcester Source to confirm this.

That sounds like Graham Cheeseman, not the diet of a finely honed Athletic striker.

Given his excellent strike rate, this is a bit of a surprise/concern.
Why does he never settle down anywhere? Reuben Reid syndrome.

Jake Taylor liked a tweet yesterday in response to Scott Palfrey's tweet about him using a mannequin for the new kit teaser video!

He's now 'unliked' said tweet so read into that however you want...

And mine haven’t seen anything on Ajose
Not the official page, obviously if they were tweeting about it it would be confirmed wouldn’t it! When you search ‘ecfc’ on twitter it shows you any tweets with ‘ecfc’ in them, and it has had loads of our fans claiming Ajose is a done deal over the past couple of days.

His strike rate is not actually excellent apart from 1 season with Swindon. I don't know where this myth has stemmed from.

0.30 goals per game in the league vs 0.27 for Reuben Reid

Think we can agree Reid is/was a great striker at this level.

Akinde has 0.36 per game.

Ajose is a goalscorer.
