The CCR version (the original I believe) was superb.

Anyway, it wasn't where that classic "nobody would've heard of me unless I'd died" chap Jeff Buckley was drowned, perchance?

Jason gets it, but I would like to point out that some of us were well aware of Buckley Jnr before his death by drowning and that's unusual for me as I'm usually well behind the times.

How are you when it comes to Arthur Russel? Do you know of his early new wave band The Necessaries? Just picked up their first two albums, and they sound like wonderful early R.E.M.
