hilarious that they try to blame the effect of European competitions for this change.

In rounds 1 and 2 of the FACup the highest placed sides are in League One which has precisely no teams playing in Europe...

There's a poll on the Sky Sports app. Two thirds are in favour of scrapping them! I guess that just means that Sky Sports is mainly full of Premier League sides' fans. Still, I guess it's small beer compared to the 'Dubai Cup' or whatever they play for preseason

The FA Committee members should hang their heads in shame. The Premier League, of course, has no shame.
Wonder if our club board will make comment on the decision.

Our matches against Man U have just been mentioned on SSN.
So if it had gone to penalties at Old Trafford whether we won or lost the shoot out, there would have been no replay and we might not even have this forum :unsure:
