You must have bought 2000 plus and you made a special day memorable.
The No 9 flag was a wonderful tribute.

Met the marathon man who said has raised £2500 to date.A fantastic achievement.

On to the game.Thought you tried your best but were simply outclassed by fitter, more skilful players.5-2.You're just a non league pub team!!!

The other game was deservedly won by you lot.
Cureton made the difference and think this year you will be more comfortable
than last.Mid table for you.

Not so sure for us.We have the players, but not the manager it seems.Relegation beckons.

Looking forward to our meeting at St James.Hopefully will give you more of a game then.

You are right about that , the first game you did indeed deserve to win and were better and fitter, I spent most of the game chasing shadows but it was a really good and sporting game, thank you for hosting us, and good luck with the season ahead it really is only early doors! and many thanks to the Gym for the use of the showers.

Is it a real local derby (as asked on the Football League Show)?

Not a big one because no history between the clubs. And consider

'If you finish 12th does it make any difference where they finish?'

My answer for Argyle and Torquay would be it would be a huge difference between them finishing one place above or one place below us.

With Yeovil that wouldn't bother me;indeed I'd prefer them to not be relegated from League One

Yes, I too have nothing at all against them, other than their not waiting in the Conference to greet us warmly upon relegation in 2003. :)

Any club that had Steve Harrower, Paul Batty, Ben Rowe, Clive Whitehead and Brian McDermott in the same team is alright by me.

PS: I make an exception for that bloke - Hoagy perhaps? - who used to run Confguide. Always very keen to put the boot into City while we were at what can only be described as a bit of a low point.
