First game of the season at the Hawthorns, ground being rebuilt and they gave us 1,000 seats and 1,300 plus turned up! Did I get the score correct?

Yes. Score correct

Overhanded stewards threw fans out for standing up and I recall some fighting near the coaches

Did we score first with a wonder goal from Mark Cooper?

I thought Gary Marshall scored the best goal for us. Think Don Goodman was playing for WBA that day.

Didn't we then lose our next away game at Shrewsbury 6-0?

Actually it was 6-1. This followed a 2-1 home defeat to Brentford which itself was sandwiched between a 5-0 aggregate defeat to Birmingham in the League cup.

God we were sh*te!
