Watching Tit's nibbling me nuts!
I'm sure he's the Lollipop man at my Sons School, St.Sidwells.
He barks at me every day something about City and it's a disgrace and so on.
I see him up the city in the flybe stand and he's called Maurice, got to be the same bloke, he's got a moped and he wears a flat cap most of the time when not doing his Lollipop man duties.

Yes a brilliant idea, if only we could get the BB singing 'There's only one Maurice Wright....'

Or, I believe this may have come from an ex director who is fairly popular on here during a work party a few years back....

'Maurice Wright Wright Wright, he talks sh*te sh*te sh*te...' disgraceful. :)
A popular chant of the early 90's, but very true.

The last time I saw Maurice was in a dream, no, make that a nightmare.

It was a dream. Maurice appeared in it and the whole thing took on an early 90's theme and turned into a nightmare.

Bleddy rubbish City!

"Not Long to go" I said.
You sure he didn't just hear "Long to go" and think it was the start of some sort of campaign ?

Tim, Do you think this would make a good Fanzine article?

Tim? Tim??
Non. Qui est ce Timothe ? C'est pour laver vos cheveux, n'est pas ? Qu'est que c'est 'fanzine' ? Je ne comprends pas.

Vous ne m'avez pas vu, d'accord ?

(Wonders whether pretending to be French will work, as his French is based on the Longman's Audio-Visual French module "M Jazy Entre Dans Cacher". Cogitates on the merit of posting the lyrics of The Joker by the Steve Miller Band on the 'Lyrics thread:
Some people call me the space cowboy, yeah
Some call me the gangster of love
Some people call me Maurice
Cause I speak of the pompitous of love

Realises he's just done it. Hides under table. Contemplates going on the Exeweb Big Brother thread and writing "Look at me. Look at me." every five minutes. Remains under table as safest option)

During the 90's various birthday and other announcements were set up and spoken over the tannoy by a friend of mine that maurice punched on the supporters coach, jamie morgan

'Happy 90th Birthday to Maurice Wright'

'Congratulations on the birth of your 7th child Maurice' and others....

Suprised no one else remembers
