I am aware several exewebbers have justifiably had real doubts but have the last couple of games answered the question of whether they can play alongside each other in a back three ?
I accept that we moved to a back four for the second half yesterday, with TAH in front of them.

Playing in the Edwards role of a few years back.

Having been at the game yesterday, I'm not sure if that's the way to go? Not convinced we were as solid as some people on here have made out - more of the Hudd attack not taking their chances

I take it you had a lot of visits to the loo yesterday after drinking too much weak beer at the Gas Club beforehand and got a hit n miss perspective of the game;)

Just like the old days...
hands up from this corner. Scotty looks much more solid.

For me he is the under performing link. I don't feel he really does much wrong, but I want him to offer more. He had Woodards like promise when he turned up but I don't feel he has improved as much as I had hoped.

In reply to the original question, not sure. I don't see why they cannot play together, I don't really buy this left foot, right foot thing, they are professionals. I think Matt T is the most important member of the back 3/4/5/6.

And to think I thought our apparent improved defensive displays had all been done to Jones not playing and nothing to do with anyone else ;)

But just think how confident the defenders on the pitch feel when they know BJ is on the bench ready to step into the breech if needed.;) Or did you mean PJ?
