Thought MT sounded like his usual honest self in the post-match interview

Unfortunately (for Rovers' fans) this meant him saying his squad doesn't have enough quality and the players on the bench aren't good enough to step up 😬

Always felt his biggest strength (honesty) was also a weakness at times

He said something similar when he started at Rotherham.

Open to debate 😂 Absolute colossus in back to back promotions, give your head a wobble you silly man

Then managed us into League One
Played his part in promotion teams but colossus?! Very overrated as a player and as a Manager. Never understand why he can do no wrong but Tisdale will be forever a figure of fun. Seems to be just people don’t like the way he talks or looks. Taylor now has an opportunity to do something at a bigger club backed up by a long contract, with a loyal fan base and financial backing so good luck to him. Hopefully he will show he’s as good as he thinks he is.

That’s a word you don’t hear very often nowadays. Thanks.

He is completely unproven as a League 1 manager, so it is no surprise that he is struggling. I have always said that it was unwise of him to leave us when he did - he'd have done far better to get a good League 1 season under his belt before moving on to higher things
