This has the stench of premiershite finance all over it. Maybe one day Sky will go elsewhere and the entire edifice will crumble and fall. Ah well. Can always hope.

Manchester City successful in their appeal against the punishment imposed by UEFA and are back in the Champions League next season.

What this means for FPP I've no idea. I hope the principle is not lost.

Not sure of the merits of the case TBH..

Matey on the wireless this morning seemed to be referring to a failure to follow process so I do not know if they escaped on a technicality.

10 million Euro fine is chicken feed if they were culpable. Matey said that Citeh made £93 million from the CL run last year up to the QF stage

I see the CAS will release full reasons for their decision in a few days time.

General consensus is that FFP is in tatters now. A 10 million Euro fine for obstructing the enquiry (admitted by Citeh) seems ludicrously generous to me.

Big money talking again here I think.
