To which you could also add Tom McCready.......Don't think we'll see anything of TAH for the rest of the season now , complete waste of our resources.

Strange that there is such a difference. To be honest I thought 415 sounded low and I wasn't surprised when Rog's figure was higher. Games near London tend to get a big following due to the amount of Exiles in the area. It will interesting to see what the actual figure was.415 according to ecfc twitter
With Pym in goal of course? Not the ultimate answer, but certainly the lesser of two evils. If we play like that for the next 8 games, we'll get the points we need. A good day out
Only Ampadu whose only 100 times better(facepalm) had to play the old man on Tuesday aswell(think he has to play so many games before Tis-Stale can give him a contract for next season?? YeaaahI still don't get the Matt Oakley thing? Is there really no one better, in Tisdales eyes?
Thanks for that report Red Paul. Good read.An entertaining afternoon.
In keeping with his shambolic performance, Mr Kettle seemed surprised by a 3pm kick off time and it was nearly 5 past 3 before they kicked off. Within 2 minutes, they were screaming for a penalty, JMT was motionless on the ground and the ref just carried on. Eventually he blew to stop the game and after a worrying delay and number of medical staff on the pitch, he was led off walking clutching a gash on his head.
The rest of the first half was cagey. Luton had the better of it, we were a bit long ball, narrow and incoherent. Harley took 20 minutes to find a pass to City player but then had a good game. Reid was played through and their keeper made a smart stop. Bobby then had to get down low and quickly to scoop away a fierce drive and they had a 25 yard free kick narrowly swing pass the post. Kettle continued to infuriate both sets of teams with some strange decisions - not playing advantage, stopping the game for a Luton injury when Luton had the ball and hadn't put it out, inconsistent yellow cards. After 5 extra minutes, it was 3.55 before they went off.
After a 17 minute half time, the 2nd half started apace. City were playing with more width and purpose and Stacey in particular was a menace raiding forward. City's best chance came when Taylor slipped the left back, and left him on his backside, pulled back to Reid on the corner of the 6yd area who smashed in goal bound. Defender blocked it somehow and it came straight back to Reid who blazed over. Then Brown somehow managed not to head in from virtually under the bar but he was off balance
City then scored after a delightful break out from the back. Harley carried it forward, who slipped it to the right and the ball was cut back to Taylor who struck it in the corner from the edge of the box. Lovely goal.
We then started to panic a little. Luton threw a big man on up front, Bobby flapped at a couple of crosses, balls were cleared off the line, we nearly scored a comedy own-goal and it wasn't a surprise when our arch thorn-in-the-side Hylton (minus mask) headed home from yet another cross. He had the ball in the net again 10 minutes later but ruled out for offside but City continued to look dangerous. Wheeler (not for the first time) seemed to be shoved in the box as a Watkins cross came in but nothing given by Mr Kettle and numerous moves generally involving Stacey, Watkins and Taylor didn't quite come to anything.
In the end either side could have one it but we finished the stronger. Would have been good to see a Grant or McAlinden come on instead of either Tillson or Oakley but both contributed to us holding on to the well-earned point. Kettle finally blew up at 5.01.
If we play like that for the next 8 games, we'll get the points we need. A good day out
