Anyone recommend any cheap hotels in Leeds that are close to nightlife and Elland road??

It may be tricky to find any at all...England v Australia is that weekend at Headingley.

There is a City Inn which has literally just opened in Leeds city centre which has rooms on offer at £59. The one in Bristol is very smart - can't speak for the Leeds one.

EDIT: Actually, checking the website, it's £49 advance purchase.

I stopped at small family run B&B near to the Town Hall a few years ago. Away from the centre, but only about 10 minute walk. Nice and quiet. I'll try and find the name of it.

Good tip that. York is probably the nicest place in Yorkshire and is only about 25 miles from Leeds. I'm going up there this weekend as my best mate lives there.

If any of you are planning on staying over I reckon that's your best option.

Elland Road is an out of town stadium so no real "night life" (not the sort you'd want to meet anyway) around there. Probably better off towards the city centre if you want a hotel.
