Following the success of last seasons competitions please find enclosed the details for 2010/11.
For those who haven’t played before, please see directly below
Last Man Standing is a football competition whereby you choose a team to win their selected match each week to progress.
A one off payment of £1 to enter at the start of the competition is required. Payment in person or email for bank transfer details.
The winner is of course the last man standing and he will simply will win the prize pot.
Brief guideline to the rules:
Each week 1 league is selected by the administrator, you then must select a team that you believe will win their match that week. Progress to the next week is only guaranteed if your chosen team wins its match.
You can only choose a team once in the competition, in which the administrator keeps track of, anybody can select any team from that weeks chosen league.
The administrator will make the league selection from the below
Premier League
The Championship
League One
League Two
All entries must be submitted by the nominated cut off time.
“In the event of a match that is called off from the selected gameweek, providing 1 entrant, has chosen an effected match, that gameweek is postponed and rolls over to the following week”
If a postponement has happened prior to 5 days of the fixture date a new league selection can be made”
In the event we have 2, or another number of people left at any stage, and they all choose a team that doesn’t win, resulting in everybody loosing, they are reinstated until there is a winner!
Mark III begins:
Get your pounds to me ASAP, make a selection from the below and let me know.
LMS Mark III will begin on Saturday 7th August
For the first week you will need to make your selection from the League 1 fixtures as below

Carlisle v Brentford, 15:00
Charlton v Bournemouth, 15:00
Exeter v Colchester, 15:00
Notts County v Huddersfield, 15:00
Peterborough v Bristol Rovers, 15:00
Rochdale v Hartlepool, 15:00
Sheff Wed v Dag & Red, 15:00
Swindon v Brighton, 15:00
Tranmere v Oldham, 15:00
Walsall v MK Dons, 15:00
Yeovil v Leyton Orient, 15:00
All selection should be submitted to me by 15:00 on the 07/08/10
