The "Come on you Reds" chant would actually become meaningful again !When I started supporting City we played in red shirts; no stripes. I was quite shocked when stripes appeared, although looking back the stripes had more history.
Personally, I would be happy to return to red shirts.

With numbers on the shorts. Not many teams had that...The only other team I recall having numbers on shorts were Glasgow Celtic.Especially when we played in red shorts too.
