He's already played at a higher level than some of Wednesday's England squad (the goalkeepers whos names I forget) so your suggestion may not be as daft as it sounds!!

I cant imagine him ever playing for England. But I recall from the distant past hear mention that he was eligible for Scotland? Strikes me as a more realistic goal.
