or the winning ...
as football fans we are used to the gut wrenching feeling of a loss , and the odd elation of winning against the odds - that's football
What we are seeing goes way beyond either emotion
We are witnessing the wanton destruction of our club.
Through stubbornness or stupidity ,or parlous disregard for anything remotely near common sense, 3 people, and those who continue to prop them up, have their feet hard down on the accelerator hurtling us toward the brick wall which is relegation.
Is no one at board level going to stop this happening?? Seemingly not. Every week we seem to witness ever more ludicrous decision making.
4k a month for a crocked centre back
150k a year for a manager to coach us to the bottom of the professional league
70k for Perryman to egg him on on
40-50k for an executive director of football to give it large at fans forums and continue to make increasingly ludicrous 'state of the nation' addresses
ever decreasing home revenues whitewashed with ticket giveaways and fudged season ticket attendance figures
shrinking sponsorship revenues and corporate support
yet the time taken to rationalise two minimum wage employees to save a few bob
complete and utter madness!
so its not the winning or losing that matters - the future of our club does
there needs to be a root and branch change at the corroded core of our club.
Tisdale needs to go .....its too expensive an option to keep him with what lies in front of us and he is clearly out of ideas and motivation ( but not out of pocket)
The individuals who got us in this mess ( Tagg , Morrish, Perryman ) need to get us out and then bail out themselves - if as they claim they have the clubs best interests at heart , the time for action is NOW
Its not about winning or losing anymore - its more important than that
