Is our academy one of the best in country?

The answer is that our academy is not one of the best in the country but it's the best in Div 2.

So 5 teams have a higher rating than us in Div2 : Colchester, Crewe, Cambridge Utd. Barnet and Swindon. I must say I'm surprised about that . Of course, it also depends on the criteria.
Apparently in the last 2 seasons we have received more transfer income from academy lads than the rest of Div 2 combined. And we certainly finished higher in the league than those teams in the last 2 seasons. aided by appearances from Pym, JMT, Storey, Watkins, Jay. Anyway, it seems that we have some good youngsters coming through so our academy prospects seem bright.
Think our academy has been our savior - Tagg did really well to fight to keep it and it seems we've always had good coaches at the C & F. Perryman, Tis and Oakley ++ obviously have also played a part in this.
