Sorry to see this, mainly for Luggy's sake rather than our neighbours. Paul Sturrock's history as a manager has been one of periods of considerable success interspersed with periods when things turned sour. His times at Dundee United and Sheffield Wednesday were examples and now it has happened at Plymouth. Perhaps he needed to learn the art of turning things around without having to move to a new club. If he's given another chance he will probably repeat the cycle and get a promotion. Probably not many City fans will have seen Luggy play, but if you did you wouldn't have forgotten. I was lucky enough to see him score a lot of goals and bring the Scottish league championship to what was then a small, unfashionable club. Whatever you think of Argyle, Paul is a class act.
