Missing first league away game for over 16 months - sticking to this seasons policy of only going to 'new' grounds.

However Mrs Grumpy will be attending as the family representative, as she doesn't want to miss any.

£25 a ticket for a scabby old stand is a bit of a **** take when their season tickets were just £100, although I guess anyone mad enough to trek to the ends of the earth would not be put off by that.

Was pretty much my thoughts, but I'm guessing it was part of the cheap season ticket plan - sell lots to locals, and fleece away fans for the season, as not many home fans will pay on the day!

However, I'm still planning on making my 3rd trip to Hartlepool in 3 seasons

I will be there for my first City game this season looking forward to a good day out spoilt by 90 mins of football.

My first miss of the season. I could go to Hartlepool and spend about £70 on coach fare, entrance, programme, food, drink and beer.....or work a 14hr day shift for an agency and earn about £115 take home in one day.

Brain overruled heart and I have to use my commonsense. Plus it'll be 0-0 this time round and been there way too many times
