Elsewhere in League Two, relegated Wycombe Wanderers are favourites to sign former Exeter City midfielder Matt Gill.

Gill moved from Exeter to Norwich City after helping the Grecians to win promotion to League One last summer.

But he has been only a fringe player as the Canaries lifted the League One title this season, and he is thought to be looking for regular first-team opportunities at a new club.

I will be amazed if he leaves Norwich... the contract he negotiated was pretty spectacular, particularly now they are in the Championship.

Don't think there is space for him with Dunne, Sercs, Harley and Noble. Not unless he wants to be a cheap as chips fringe player which I doubt.

Surely he went to Norwich partly for family reasons? Wycome is not really driveable from Norwich on a daily basis...
