I thought that the pitch covers had been sent back to the supplier for repairs or something during the summer - I hope they have been returned back to the club by now?

I'd hope so, but maybe they haven't as I see the reserves game vs the scum at SJP tomorrow night has been called off due to a frozen pitch.

I assume that's a precaution, so that the pitch doesn't cut up then freeze for Saturday's game?

Sidmouth is a nice enough place, quite attractive in fact however I do not have grey hair and I am under 30 so at the moment it does not float my boat.
