Anyone know if former City player Frank Howarth played for any other clubs after leaving the Grecians other than Exmouth Town and Torrington?

Also played for Cheltneham Town after Exmouth had an epic FA Cup tie with them. Yes, there will be a general credit for Exeweb!

Use to know Frank well,we were in the same city school boy/youth teams from about 1978/81 the star was of course Nicky Marker but was well pleased for Frank that he had a few seasons in the first team.

Incedently how many games did Frank play for City ?

40 total including substitute appearances in all competitions, between 1982-85.

Only scored one goal.

I'm sure he was playing for East Budleigh when I played against him last time.

Off the top of my head - a big call this - was Frank's goal by any chance a header in a 1-0 Friday night win over Wrexham.

No his goal was in a 1-1 home draw with Blackpool on April 17th 1985. Att. 1,847. That was in the dark days of Jeff Wood in goal.
