Only if we can get big Sam as well; otherwise no
We would need a suitable centre forward to go with him.On a free transfer and with the same wages he was on before.Question is, would you have Jev back next season?
There's a saying, "Time is a great healer"What's the feeling about his offence in Exeter?

Am I right in thinking that, pre-Bosman, even when a player's contract was up his registration was still retained by the club so any club wanting to sign an out-of-contract player might still have to pay a fee?Just watched a World In Action programme from 1982 on YouTube on the financial crises in football focusing mostly on Bristol City and the 'Ashton Gate Eight'. Eight players who had to agree to have their contracts terminated to save the club from liquidation. Clive Whitehead being one of those players and agreeing to have his ELEVEN year contract terminated. Alan Dicks gave players long contracts because he was fed up of players going to other clubs for nothing after one or two years. What is clear is what a dire stat football was in back then.
Yes. The two clubs would have to agree a fee or it would go to tribunal, the same as the rules for u24's now.Am I right in thinking that, pre-Bosman, even when a player's contract was up his registration was still retained by the club so any club wanting to sign an out-of-contract player might still have to pay a fee?
Rosencrantz is right and to clarify what annoyed Alan Dicks back then was the perceived low fees that the tribunals decided hence the long contracts for Clive Whitehead and the other 7 players.Am I right in thinking that, pre-Bosman, even when a player's contract was up his registration was still retained by the club so any club wanting to sign an out-of-contract player might still have to pay a fee?
