Now looking like, if we are going to have any hope of making the playoffs, we will need to beat both Newport and Grimsby which should keep us in the mix but still probably needing to beat Barrow in the last game to pip Newport to the last playoff position.

Lose to Newport and I think we can safely say we will have nothing to play for in our last game.

I understand that Law wanted to go, however city could have said he needed to see out the season. That may have meant Law was unhappy but not every club would have let him go. You can’t deny that having law for last twenty games would probably have earned us some points.

It depends how much notice he gave. If none we were more than entitled given that we had no opportunity to replace him.

Doesn’t look like it’s going to happen but we can get up to 7th if we win on Saturday. We really need to win next two as sides behind could well win as well and Bolton away could be very tough with them possibly set up to secure autos with a win.

newport tonight and forest green scrapped wins when they needed them and we came up just short. Tonight was better than the past two games but after jays effort was saved we couldn’t get enough of the ball. We possibly could have sacrificed one wide or attacking player and gone three in the middle to try and win more of the ball.

all we can do is go ahead Saturday and hope. Would be amazed if this side went up as it stands but we are capable of playing much better.

Agreed but it now looks as if we will need to win all three. Unfortunately we do not have a great record against Newport and over recent seasons despite our respective league positions Grimsby have made a bit of a habit of upsetting our proverbial apple cart.

KMT is too wooden. Should just try something different, anything, to attempt to change things
