My first City shirt was the 92/93 one with the plastic Carling sticky logo.

I had a few odd shirts before then - parents got me a retro 70s Chelsea top from a jumble sale, Dad in trying to make me (like him) a City / Man United 2CW got me a Man United kit in around '86.

My first was the England GK's top from Mexico '86, the grey/silver one with blue elbow and shoulder pads (it was the 80's).

In all of the crucial matches that followed in our back garden, not once was i out jumped by an Argentinian.

I had a Cowdenbeath away shirt when I was a kid, my mum bought it for me at a jumble sale in Cheriton Fitzpaine.
As you do ...

Our back gardens were 1 in 2 and many crazy paved, a fad at the time. Wembley was in front of a block of garages, and the goal was anybody who left their door up, those doors left closed bear the scars to this day.

What, not even a 5' 2" one?

To be fair, i don't think Pinhoe had much of an Argentinian contingent at the time.

I hope you scored against the Express & Echo's golden boys, Ladysmith.
Ladysmith were our arch enemies. If I remember correctly I didn't score against them but we got a creditable draw away.

Would have been either a Notts County H shirt or a Liverpool A (the yellow one) both circa 98/99.

First City shirt would have been the 2002/03 number.

Don't really buy replica shirts anymore but down the years I have owned shirts from Spurs, Lazio, Leeds and Doncaster.

Your opposition were probably not fuelled with "Peruvian marching powder" either !
