Nige should have already known (from his Cheltenham days) that meaty challenges like that are just vorbotten up there at the New Yawn?

Not sure how the hell we won that. We rode our luck at times and were thankful for some woeful finishing from Forest Green but that just compensated for some, shall we say, harsh refereeing. Some immense performances from Archie, Jonny and the three centre-halves but young Jayden also deserves some praise for how well he coped in an unfamiliar position. And Randell also looked knackered and didn't have his best day but kept working hard.

Randall has played every minute of our xmas games and was still pushing on at the end today, he deserves a lot of credit for his ability to roll his sleeves up and work hard when it's needed.

I have to say what a valuable 3 points this is and having to play with 10 men for half the game too. Immense credit go to everyone associated with the club today as we continue to cement our place in the top 3. I'll even commend Nige because his goal won us the game despite his sending off in the end. Who cares how we won the game? We won it and there's now 7 points daylight between us and 4th place. Just a shame Bradford got a late winner.

Massive thumbs up to the travelling fans today and credit to Matty, the management team and all the players who featured today.

I’m forgetting about Swindon being above us, more happy they kept a team chasing us further away to be honest. Rather come anywhere in the top 3 than finish 4th.
