Is that an offer? Pick her up about 7 and keep her out until 10 so she's home in time to make me a brew. (y)
Does she like football? ;)

Alone in my polytunnel.
Wednesday is my usual dogging night and I have a spare space that week. We usually stop for chips somewhere on the way home.

Was it me or did they not say that there would be refunds for this match when they were announcing the abandonment? They said 'keep an eye on the website' for details of refunds and pay-on-the-gaters had to collect a voucher. Now it appears not only are there not refunds, you have to pay to go to the re-arranged game (albeit half-price)

I don't know what was said on the tannoy (I was still in the ticketbooth when the game was abandoned). What I was told at that time, and what I've been telling all who've asked since, was
- we can't promise a full refund as we would have done with a straight postponement
- keep hold of your tickets and vouchers
- wait for the new date to be announced
- when it's announced you will find out what value your tickets and vouchers have.

I think it's bad you have to pay when you've already paid!!

Can't see where the problem is Manc.

A slap up, sit down meal on the big bank terraces of half time pasties and Bovril?

Just tell her it's the best "cordon rouge" cuisine in the country.
Agree. We need to educate our wives that City comes first.
PS. If she looks like Jessica Alba I'm in.
