Good resault for Argyle today against a full strength Newcastle team.
Wasn't exactly full strength was it?

Anyway, this won't help Argyle. Hopefully their bus will freeze on the way up to the return game, arrive late, get d*cked 7-0 and morale will reach an all time low.

Love Jim "he's from my home town and we even think he's a tit" Beglin's closing comment in the Reading v Liverpool game.

"You would think Liverpool's RECENT UPTURN IN FORM!!! would have seen them win at Reading today."

Toon's full strength side?? I'm sure you called somebody a deluded freak earlier in this thread. Pot...... kettle...... black.
Just for the record, Toon starting line up was;
26 Krul (2nd choice keeper)
02 Coloccini
12 Simpson
16 Taylor
28 Kadar (4/5th choice centre back)
08 Guthrie (In and out the side on rotation)
21 Pancrate (Lovenkrands 79) (In and out the side on rotation (on both counts))
22 Butt (In and out the side on rotation mainly kept out by Smith)
17 Smith (Gutierrez 71)
23 Ameobi
30 Ranger (Carroll 68) (Third choice striker)

There's six there that you wouldn't expect to see start on a regular basis. Just to do the maths for you, that's more than half the side. I don't think that constitutes The Toons full strength side, do you?

Good result for 'Brian!! Brian McDermott!!! Brian McDermott on the wing!!!' in his quest to get the Reading job on a full time basis.

So were MK really that bad or were Burnley that good? Watching the highlights on ITV just now MK looked all over the place and little better than a Conference side. Of course it might well be that it was the Premiership club making them look so, but it's hard to see how we shipped three unanswered goals against them in round two.

MK Dons looked shocking at the back, but they have been all season. Burnley I would imagine were nothing special either, but they looked to play some nice football and probably deserved the win.

Because we stopped playing for 20 minutes and decided that we didn't need to mark anyone in the 'box'
