Lewis to Ferrari in 2025 then!

Hell of a shock, be interesting to see who they get in to replace him.
Sainz is the only real option. Could they be tempted to give Fernando a swansong, or lure Seb back, as leftfield options?

Biggest transfer of the day that one 😯 Hamilton in a Ferrari is an intriguing prospect….Maybe Mercedes could try and take Piastri from McLaren if he continues to impress this year.

Depends on how George Russell does I think. He is a proven quick driver who can compete for championships and has already shown he can win in F1. Seeing as the top talent are all seemingly in secure long term contracts, they could look to make George No1 driver and promote from within with either Mick Schumacher (he is a quick racer, you don't win the F2 title without having something about you) or Frederick Vesti who has a big season coming up for Prema in F2. Nabbing other young talent could also be an option, Oliver Bearman or Theo Pourchaire for example.

Or they could look for the solid No 2 driver such Carlos Sainz, the Toto Wolff managed Estaban Ocon or the reliable Alex Albon. Piastri could be an option if Lando continues to have McLaren built around him.

So plenty of options then 🙂

Plenty of options… think Lando could still be within a shout, despite sighing the new contract. Merc have the money to buy him out.
Albon is another, as is Mick Schumacher.
My “rogue” shout is to tempt Vettel out of retirement for a year

My Wildcard would be Max if the outcome of Christian Horner’s hearing turns out badly.

The first GP was yesterday, a Saturday. What's that about?

Ramadan so Sunday would be taboo.

Or so I read.

Indeed. For the same reason.
