Nice one Hants!!!

WOW! That third goal was a true pearler (Ollie WHO???)

But just pray our Glovesman Guru skips the pre match keeping-practice bit. I mean OH MY GOD!!!? ;)

Loved the shot of Matt Jay stood next to Danny Seabourne after Matty had scored the 4th goal, Danny patting Matty on the top of his head!

If i was the Brighton Manager i'd be asking the ref to check Edward's boots, 'cos it looked like he had Velcro [hook & loop] on them to hold the ball, he just ran through sooo many tackles and came out the other end still with the ball at his feet.

Good work, Hants. Wonder when Matt Jay will get 2-3 consecutive games to prove he can shine in Div 2. Good to see we have some other promising youngsters developing well. Kudos to Taggy for keeping the academy going in those difficult times in the past. He showed foresight and it's certainly bearing fruit.

When the teams walked out i, at first, thought that Matt Jay was one of the mascots!

I also went along on Tuesday night and thought it was a great performance and evening.

Agree with Andy's comments on Matt Jay - his first touch and agility on the ball are outstanding as is his pace. Certainly has first team potential - can see him feeding off Stockley knock downs and being a handful for defences

I am a bit more on the fence on Edwards. Yes he has great pace and his control of the ball as he runs is excellent - but his decision making is often poor so he doesn't take advantage of the positions and space he creates for himself. Hopefully that will come in time - because if it does he will be a very dangerous player.

Jordan Storey looked very solid at the back - he has the 'right' build and height for a CB so looks the part and shows great strength on the ball

And away from the youngsters I was interested to watch Jordan Tillson for some of the game. I can see why we miss him in the first team - if you watch him when the opposition have the ball he has very good positional awareness - the loss of the cover he provides in front of the back 4 has probably been one of the factors in the number of goals we have leaked over the games he has been out for.

Matt gets a lot of criticism from certain individuals and I would be really delighted for him if he could go on and prove them wrong.
