Port Vale were simply awful for the first 40 mins, but you can only beat what's in front of you and Holmes was superb...Wheeler also a constant threat...and a darned good team performance throughout....although I though we were better against Argyle.

A special clap for Tilson, who looked like he'd played the holding midfield role all his life: a superb performance in the circumstances. Well done the lad.
