Can't see Northampton scoring today, if we've got one thing it's a solid defence and Kitey to sit in front of them.

Wind direction has complately changed and gone round to S, bringing more cloud, but no real sign of rain. It's currently 16c and the wind has dropped in strength. Should be ideal conditions for the game. Setting off for game in about 40 minutes. I wish that one of the outlets at SJP would sell any of the Utopian Brewery products, as they're (fairly) local and are brewing some intersting stuff.. still I expect somwhere along the way the St Austell stranglehold would preclude it.

Apart from our shortage of fit players plus Mitchell' suspension ....today's ref is also a concern .

Hope you’re right as I can’t see us getting many ourselves but at that rate just one today would do. It would be lovely though if we could really hammer a team , any team , as we’re relying too much on our defence and obviously other teams are wise to our limited firepower. There you go , saying that we’ll now proceed to score three or four .Anyway come on you Reds , and safe travel everyone.

I'm predicting a surprise with the team selection. Nothing to do with any evidence, but I can see it in the tea leaves at the bottom of my cup.

Looks a decent enough line up.

I love our social media and usually everything they do, but I can't help thinking that asking the question to City players arriving "If you weren't a footballer, what would you be?" is the best mental preparation for a match.
