As MDT starter of our only point and goal in recent memory v Lincoln I feel duty bound to weave my magic once more on this momentous occasion against a team that we once shared a subuteo team number (52) with. Spooky or what?

Turns out it's not that spooky as we shared a subbuteo team with Lincoln not Shrewsbury who were actually No. 184.
Oh God, I've jinxed it!

If we concede 3 in the first half I dread to think of the toxicity.

I have an idea of what the score will be but I always remain hopeful. Who knows. 3 points closer to safety please.

I mean, what's the point in turning up? If we forfeit we'll only lose 3-0.

Whilst I, obviously, want us to win, Shrewsbury's away record is dire and the law of averages suggests a win for them. At best 0-0. I just cannot see where our goals would come from and I can see an unexpected win just being a brief respite. I've not felt like this for as far back as I can remember, even in the darkest times of Tis's reign.

We have scored 2 goals in our last 10 league games and conceded 25.

Law of averages suggests a heavy defeat.
