But we have probably sold a record number of season tickets because club staff have stated all along that we have never been in such a great position to sign players and don't need to sell to survive like we used to.

I get that, and I’m absolutely gutted we’ve just sold Joel, but that’s life, he was desperate to leave. And the finances of football mean that he will have multiplied his salary by at least 5 times, probably nearer to 10. And given himself a big chance of making another move into the Prem. That’s life, we thank Joel, we congratulate the club for getting an outstanding fee and we go again.
