Cracking first reply....fascinating.
Great deal for rgyle, most of us are happy to take the money, gives us a better chance to hang onto some key players with any luck!

Gus is about right, £50k for Mackie at this level is about right.
I'd be disappointed if we snappd him up or another professional "league" club picked him up for more.

A very good prospect but the price is a good one, with plenty of add ons.

You never know at the age he is now, only time will tell.

Agree with Archie, this will help Luggy and his war chest.
Ha ha don't you mean 'Crisis Fund'?

I think a good deal of it will go to balancing the books unless you sell Norris

Norris is definitely going, his "mystery" illness yesterday making sure he wasn't cup tied confirmed all I needed to know.
Oh well, shame, but it's a sign of the times and the quality we now have that our players can attract multi million Pound bids.

50k for Mackie plus a little extra for appearances? Come on, that'll balance your books. tee hee

Disagree Ive, I reckon Chuck will stay, or if he does go, yesterday was genuine.

Met the guy on a few occasions and he's not one to pull a trick like that.

As for Mackie, I reckon we should stop at £100k.

If he comes, we should loan him back, at least that way he can play competitive (sic) football in the BSP, that would pee Toytown off and we could be ever so patronising to the Greeks, as we'd help them out no end.

<snigger>, if we had any gaps we wouldn't fill them with a non league player.

We're in the CCC!!

Slightly ironic that Argyle stand to lose the £100,000 sell on fee if QPR don't get promoted...

and did the GAWS ever get a sell-on for Gosling? :D
