Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
You don't judge on friendlies. Qualifying is important but England should really always qualify for tournaments if they are top seeds without too much of a problem.

Hodgson had an acceptable euro 2012 only failing to reach a semi final on penalties, however World Cup 2014(1 point from 9) and in these finals we only qualified second due to an injury time goal followed by being deservedly beaten by Iceland. Iceland performed well above the size of their nation but last night a decent side showed how it's done.

Hodgson has been a dismal failure and had to go. England have enough quality players to compete at major finals. We need a manager with passion and footballing brain to get the best out of what we have.

Well that's that over with, think UEFA may as well have another tweak and have 32 teams in the finals, 8 groups of 4 with the top 2 going through........anyway i would say it was fun while it lasted but as I am English there was nothing fun about their performance, glad portugal beat the cheese eating surrender monkeys and won it without the prima-donna (though you wouldn't know it)

anyway onto WC2018 qualifying and hopefully Russia.............anyone think the welsh will bother turning up for another 58 years? they have a half decent group iirc
