Yes have to agree he seems to have no clearly defined role.

And of course Dean Smith was the unsuccessful manager in the opposition dug out when Ethan made his debut aged 15. As Ethan at centre half helped to keep a clean sheet against Smith’s Brentford Championship side for 120 minutes, for 45 of which he was up against Scott Hogan , the striker sold later that season for £14m (to Villa).

With Frank Lampard having been appointed Chelsea manager after repeatedly trying to take Ethan on loan to Derby then I am sure that Ethan will make a lot of appearances this season, and, of course, we would benefit substantially.

'Arry reckons that Lampard will give the kids a chance. He says some of the kids have been hyped up so play them and see how good they really are. Plus the ban on transfers. So let's hope Ampadu gets a real chance to prove himself/
